My Father’s House, our Clothes Closet provides residents with clothing and essential items to help them feel comfortable and cared for during their time in the shelter. Families are welcome to shop the closet upon entry and up to twice per month throughout their program. Warm, layer able clothing is especially appreciated, as it helps residents feel cozy and at home in the shelter.

To keep our closet well-stocked and ready to support families:

Items We Gladly Accept

• Adult and Children’s Clothing (New or Gently Used)
• Warm, Layer Able Pieces: Sweaters, Hoodies, Jackets, Short and Long-Sleeve Shirts
• Jeans, Pants, Leggings, Sweatpants, Shorts
• Seasonal Clothing Such as Coats, Beanies, Gloves, and Scarves

Items We Cannot use

• Used Undergarments & Socks
• Suits, Men’s and Women’s
• Stained, Ripped, Damaged Clothing
