At My Father’s House, our Shared Blessings Food Pantry provides residents with extra support during their time in the shelter. Families are welcome to shop the pantry upon entry and up to twice per month throughout their program. While the pantry is a helpful supplement, it is not intended to be the only source of food. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of other community resources and, within 45 days of arrival, to secure employment and move toward self-sufficiency.
To keep our pantry stocked and ready to support families, we rely on donations of essential food items and household supplies, including (but not limited to):

Food Items Needed:

Fresh or canned vegetables, canned or fresh fruit, meats, milk, eggs, cereal, peanut butter, jam and jelly, condiments (ketchup, mayo, mustard, pickles, pickle relish, salad dressing), fruit juice, chili, rice, beans, pasta sauce, pasta noodles, boxed meals, spaghetti O’s, ravioli, top ramen and small bags of coffee.

Baby & Personal Care Items Needed:

Baby wipes, diapers, feminine products, body wash/ soap, deoderant, shampoo, conditioner, face soap and facial tissues.

Cleaning & Household Supplies Needed:

Windex, Clorox wipes, Lysol spray, laundry detergent, dish soap (no Comet please), toilet paper and paper towels.

Your support helps ensure families at My Father’s House have access to these basic necessities while they work toward independence.
