Men’s Case Manager
Part-Time (20-25 hours a week) | Non-Exempt
Help Men Move Toward Stability, Hope & Independence
My Father’s House is a Christ-centered, nondenominational ministry serving families experiencing homelessness in Gresham, Oregon. We believe lasting change happens through relationships, accountability, practical support, and the hope of Jesus Christ.
We are looking for a Men’s Case Manager who is passionate about walking alongside men as they work toward stability, personal growth, employment, and long-term independence.
What You’ll Do
As a Men’s Case Manager, you will:
- Build trusting, professional relationships with male residents
- Meet regularly with residents to provide individualized case management
- Help residents establish and work toward goals related to housing, employment, and personal growth
- Connect residents with community resources, referrals, and supportive services
- Maintain accurate case notes and resident records
- Support new residents through intake, interviews, orientation, and move-in processes
- Conduct phone screens and assist with determining potential program applicants
- Support move-out processes and exit interviews
- Encourage participation in classes, programming, and house expectations
- Communicate with staff regarding resident needs and important updates
- Help maintain a safe, respectful, and structured environment
- Work collaboratively with our case management and program team
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Is 21 years of age or older
- Has strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Leads with compassion, respect, and appropriate boundaries
- Can remain calm and thoughtful in challenging situations
- Is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Works well as part of a team
- Has a genuine passion for serving individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty
- Has previous experience in case management, social services, or working with individuals experiencing homelessness (preferred, but not required)
Most Importantly…
Because of the Christ-centered nature of our ministry, applicants must agree with and be able to support the Mission Statement and Statement of Faith of My Father’s House.
This position is based primarily in our shelter and office environment and involves regular interaction with residents, staff, volunteers, and community partners. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
Compensation & Benefits
$19–$21 per hour, depending on experience.
Part-time employees receive vacation time in accordance with our Employee Handbook and sick time in compliance with Oregon Paid Sick Leave requirements.
